Harness

PL-3 harness

In flight the pilot is attached to the harness which also forms his seat and via carabiners connects him to the paraglider canopy. Suitably prepared set of harness straps guarantees steady fastening of the pilot, thus increasing his safety in flight. As standard this harness is equipped with attachment straps with adjustable buckles that can be replaced with quick-release locks at request. Arm straps carry loops to attach the rescue system risers.

PL harness

The PL harness is intended for the beginning paraglider pilots who make short training or pleasure flights. It is fitted with a bag and cross straps as standard. Optionally an external container rescue system can be attached.

PL-3 harness

The PL-3 harness is intended for the pilots who make longer flights. Thanks to its shape it allows the pilot to take a comfortable position in flight, thus significantly increasing the comfort of paragliding. As standard it is equipped with bag, rescue system container, protector, side pockets, ballast container pocket and cross straps. Optionally an internal container rescue system can be fitted.

Bags

The bag is used to carry the complete paraglider equipment kit. Thanks to its lightweight design it is possible to roll the bag up and place it inside the harness bag, which allows to easily carry the equipment after a field landing.
The bag has one big pocket closed by a strong zipper with two openers. Additionally, the loading part is protected by a frill inside, which protects the paraglider canopy from damage when closing the zipper. Outside it features a pocket for small objects. The bag has two arm straps and a hip strap plus two side handles to carry it.

Flying suits

Flying suit Flying suit

The flying suit is a single-piece clothing of the paraglider pilot that is intended to maintain the body temperature and protect from wind. A system of three long zippers (front and side ones) allows to easily put the flying suit on and off. Additionally the flying suit has pockets for a radio and other small objects, and on its legs it has straps to attach a flying instrument. Flying suits are made in three sizes: 170 cm, 180 cm and 190 cm.

Add-ons

Speed system

Pedal of the speed system, after attaching to the risers of the paraglider allows to reduce the canopy angle of attack and its airfoil camber, which results in reduced drag and thus increased flying speed.

It consists of a stiff bar, two side cables and two snaps. Towing release system

Towing release system

Release system is used to release the towing line after reaching proper altitude. Its design allows easy release when the towing line is tense and loose.

Ballast container

Ballast container is used to increase the paraglider loading in order to use the kinetic energy to gain height or at strong winds to improve flying characteristics.

Cross straps

Cross straps of the harness are intended to stabilise the pilot's position when one of the canopy tips loses lift and the paraglider falls to one side. They are fitted with trimmers to adjust their length and snaps for quick-release attaching to the harness.

Transport canvas

Transport canvas is used for quick folding and easy transport of the paraglider, for example, after wetting, soiling or damaging the paraglider, when it is not advisable to fold it normally.

Metal parts

Many specific metal parts are used in the structure of a paraglider and paraglider equipment. Metal parts

Quick-release locks

Quick-release locks allow for easy and quick unfastening of harness straps around the paraglider pilot. This significantly increases the harness comfort, and in the case of an emergency alighting in water the paraglider pilot can quickly release the harness.

Pulleys

Pulleys are used in the places where cables have to move against other elements (steering lines in risers, speed system cables in risers and in harness). In order to reduce friction the pulley rolls are made from bronze.

Deltas

Deltas are used to connect lines with main risers. They are made in two versions: stainless and galvanised. Stainless deltas are more durable but at a larger price.

Carabiners

Carabiners are used to connect the harness with the paraglider risers. They have to carry all the loads in flights and allow to quickly release the harness. We have two types of carabiners: AUSTRIALPIN with push-in lock and SUP AIR with rotate lock. Each has min. load capability of 1,500 daN.
